Since I've got 512 unseen deviations in my devwatch, and I haven't had time to do anything here for maybe 3 months or 4, I currently think it makes no sense to stay at da, because apparently things won't change, at least I don't see it. So maybe see you, maybe not.

...and why can I find it if I google for large pictures with the key words "Richard Simmons"?

Dear friends,

I'm really sorry. Since a few weeks, I'm not able to find the time to keep up watching all of you great artists. I had exams during the last 2 weeks, and now for August, I have to manufacture 3 term papers, earn money, finish some seminar course files and organize for my studies abroad.

I tried to work down my devwatch for the last 30 minutes, but still I have got 105 deviations on my devwatch, 12 Journals, 3 Hot topics, 5 comments and 3 misc.

What does this mean? I'm not going to unwatch anybody because of time reasons, BUT I have to delay the watch until at least September.
Maybe I even will have to skip all deviations in order to ever achieve the zero again
Please understand that even though I might be online for a few minutes I won't have the time to react instantly to watches, favs, comments or on new deviations.
And please also understand that sometimes I might upload deviations, because Creating the deviations is something that gives me a good feeling, the feeling to have done something that I'm proud of, and I need this feeling from time to time to keep up my motivation for university stuff.

I hope you don't mind.

Liebe Freunde des Fußballs,
Liebe Freunde der neu gewonnenen deutschen Fröhlichkeit und Feierlaune sowie der Fahnenmeere auf unseren Strassen,

Deutschland ist WM Dritter. Und wir freuen uns, wir sind zu der Erkenntnis gelangt, dass auch ein dritter Platz noch etwas Wert ist. Vor Allem bei den ganzen Nebeneffekten, die die letzten Wochen bei uns verursacht haben. Wir deutschen sind ungewohnt ausgelassen, offen und fröhlich, wir schämen uns nicht mehr unserer Flagge und singen sogar inbrünstig unsere Hymne.

Mein ganz persönlicher Dank an den Fußball, an die WM und an alle die dazu beigetragen haben ist eine neue Fotoserie unter dem Motto der WM "Die Welt zu Gast bei Freunden". Ich werde das englische Motto, 'A time to make friends' (wer hat das denn übersetzt?) für die Bilder nutzen

Diese Serie ist offen, dh. ich hoffe dass möglichst viele Mitdevianten ihre Bilder herauskramen, die sie während der unvergesslichen WM geschossen haben und sich an dieser Serie beteiligen.

Damit wäre auch schon die Frage geklärt: Was machen wir ab Montag?

Dear friends of football,
dear friends of the new German gaiety and the sea of flags on our streets,

Germany won the 3rd place. We celebrate this achievment and recognize that also 3rd places are worth something, especially considering the spin-offs of this World Cup like the fact that Germans are cheerful and are not ashamed anymore in front of their flag or hymn.

This is my personal ‘thank you’ to soccer, to the World Cup and everybody who contributed to this sensational mood. My ‘thank you’ is a new photoseries under the slogan of the WC, ‘A time to make friends’ (which, in German, actually is ‘Die Welt zu Gast bei Freunden’).

This series is open, that is you can - and I hope you do - contribute one or more photographies to this series, or even start your own series. The only requirement is that it must have any relation to this year’s World Cup.

Aaaah, I'm just so excited...I was at the Schlossplatz in Stuttgart yesterday at the public viewing and the atmosphere was absolutely smashing!
I've got the soccer fever! There was an unreal sea of German flags. I shot a lot of pictures, maybe I'll work on one for DA. But until then, there's my deviation "Triumph".

And I believe: Germany is gonna be World Champion again! (Thank you, Jürgen Klinsmann and sorry England )
